Canadian-born Wolf Mail began playing guitar at the age of ten. "I would sit upstair in my room for hours listening to blues records my mother played downstair .." says Wolf. His early influences were Elmore James, Freddy King and later Mark Knopfler. He played his first professional gig at the age of fourteen, " ..there were about 2000 people , I was scared to death and played the whole concert with my back turned to the audience.." he recalls. In 1984, at the age of seventeen, he joined Ted Nugent on his "Penetrator" tour in Europe.
