Picture this…a five year old with fiery curls that shadow the famous Bonnie Raitt, an artist this girl will one day come to be compared to, pulls out an old ukulele to serenade a family audience at her grandmother's house with Hello Dolly. Again and again. The little girl grows up and buys her first record albums. Janis Joplin was a favorite. Later she sees Stevie Nicks in concert and is mesmerized by her sultry vocal delivery. These are the influences that inspire the teenager's passion for blues and R&B - music with grit and soul.

For answering my plea - things are settled for November thankfully - you Bellyheads rock - seriously!!!

Now of course to December, same deal......hurtin...just due to the home circumstances otherwise The Belly will go nowhere - just need to make sure the internet and electricity gets paid along with the servers and no problemo......

Been getting a lot of new music and hope you enjoy it...I'm telling ya, you are not going to hear this stuff anywhere, I mean anywhere, else :)

Lots of local blues shows....so get out and support the musicians....they make The Belly go round!!!
