Gene Hummel and Gator Stu

Since the release of the bands 2003 Cd Get Back Home, three tracks from the disk Golddigger, Fly Away, and Need Some Lovin' have all hit the MP3.com Blues Rock and Blues Worldwide Top 40 charts numerous times. All three have topped the MP3.com Go Local and New York State Charts for several weeks during August and September 2003. Various tracks from the disk are being featured on many Internet radio stations in the U.S., Canada and overseas. Curley's Coffee House, Johnson City N.Y., often includes song clips in their local radio ads. The session was produced by Jim Pierce for Round Robin Records Nashville TN and engineered by Dick McVey at Moonlight Studios Gallatin TN.

Singer/Guitarist Gene Hummel founded the band in the spring of 1998. Throughout the years the guys have maintained a very busy schedule performing at countless clubs, festivals and motorcycle related events. Along the way they have shared the stage with these great national acts: The Kinsey Report(Alligator Records), Studebaker John and the Hawks(Blind Pig, Evidence), Wide Mouth Mason and Noise Therapy.

This hard rockin' blues power trio keeps the audience captivated with their strong stage presence and solid delivery of Originals, Blues, Classic and Southern Rock tunes from their extensive songlist. The band consists of three seasoned professionals, dedicated to their craft, fueled by the desire to perform and bring the music to new areas. Bassist Jamie Bates and drummer Jim Davies hold down the bottom with a solid groove, while frontman Gene Hummel belts out deep blues vocals and an endless supply of hot guitar licks ranging from sweet to stinging.

Three hard working musicians with a no nonsense approach to music sharing the same goal to have fun while keepin' it real and playin' with feel.
